Unification Thought Seminar in Baku

Baku, Azerbaijan - A seminar on Unification Thought was attended by members of the Azerbaijan Academy of Sciences, representatives of the Ministry of Education, Medical University, Construction University, University of the Humanities, NGOs of the republic, psychologists, and businessmen. It took place in Baku May 26-27.

Among the participants were the famous philosopher of Azerbaijan, Dr. Ali Abbasov; former Minister of the Interior Mamedaga Jafarov; and former Minister of Light Industry Ibrahim Mustafayev.

The Secretary General of UPF-Eurasia, Jacques Marion, gave a series of lectures on basic philosophical statements of the UPF peacemaking programs. The seminar was followed by a lively discussion on supporting the promotion of family and marriage values in the region of the Caucasus and the urgency of educating youth in the spirit of internationalism beyond national and religious barriers.
