Melbourne, Australia - During the morning of the AFL Grand Final Day, Sept. 27, 2014, a seminar on Peace Studies took place at Monash University in Melbourne.

There were five guests with Dr. Mimmie Watts giving a presentation on peacebuilding principles based on the societal perspective, John Bellavance speaking about concepts of the end of human history, and Anne Bellavance speaking on universal principles of peacebuilding.

Note: The AFL Grand Final is an annual Australian rules football match, traditionally held on the final Saturday in September or the first Saturday in October at the Melbourne Cricket Ground to determine the Australian Football League (AFL) premiership champions for that year. The game has become significant to Australian culture, spawning a number of traditions and surrounding activities.
