Educational Program for Ambassadors for Peace in Washington DC

Washington DC, USA - A UPF educational program for Ambassadors for Peace was held Nov. 22, 2014, at the Peace Embassy in Washington, DC. Susan Fefferman, a UPF Ambassador of Peace, spoke about the Principles and Core Values of the Universal Peace Federation.
Six Ambassadors for Peace and their guests attended to deepen their understanding of the vision and the principles of Rev. Dr. Sun Myung Moon, founder of UPF.
Susan Fefferman drew on universal spiritual and moral principles as a way to resolve conflict and build a world of peace. She also emphasized that the peacebuilding process must begin with self-reflection and reorientation, taking responsibility for one’s own role in the conflict. Steps need to be taken to reverse wrongs and restore relationships. Ultimately, reconciliation and renewal should result
