Peru-2015-01-17-Brotherhood Meeting with Korean AfP

Lima, Peru - A delegation of Korean Ambassadors for Peace held a brotherhood meeting on Jan. 17, 2015, with their Peruvian counterparts.

Led by Rev. Lee Jung-moon, a senior advisor to UPF-Venezuela, the Ambassadors for Peace from Korea’s South Gyeongsang Province were traveling through South America. In Peru, the group visited the historic Inca site of Machu Picchu before arriving at UPF-Peru headquarters in Lima for a brotherhood meeting.

Peruvian Ambassadors for Peace gathered to greet them and to share a few moments of international friendship. Retired Gen. Hector Jhon Caro, vice president of UPF-Peru, gave a welcoming address, and Dr. Do Bong-sab, president of the Korean group, expressed his thanks for the Peruvians’ hospitality.

Gifts were exchanged and certificates presented to mark the historic meeting, which concluded with refreshments and informal sharing in the headquarters garden before the travelers departed for the airport to fly on to Argentina.
