UPF-Fiji Hosts South Pacific Peace Forum

Suva, Fiji—A member of Fiji’s Parliament was one of the main speakers at a program held under the banner of South Pacific Peace Initiatives.
The program, held in Suva, the capital, on February 19, 2015, included a celebration of the birthday of UPF Founders Dr. and Mrs. Sun Myung Moon. The event began with an interfaith prayer.
Hon. Dr. Brij Lal, a member of Parliament and a longtime government official specializing in education, gave a talk on achieving peace through education.
UPF-Oceania Regional Secretary General Gregory Stone spoke about the need for character education.
