UPF-Nepal Vice Chair in Op-Ed: Family Values Vital in Rebuilding Nepal

Kathmandu, Nepal—Mr. Santosh Paudel, vice chairman of UPF-Nepal, had an opinion-page article published in a major daily newspaper in Nepal, Naya Patrika (New Newspaper), on July 29, 2015.
The title of his article was “Family Values and Morals are Vital in Building a New Nation; Mere Physical Reconstruction is Not Enough,” and the following is an excerpt from it:
“Sooner or later our nation will be on the path of economic progress. Along the way, there is an overwhelming concern about the decline of our…identity, culture, customs, value, and virtues. One of our most precious treasures is the joint family culture[…]We must maintain these precious values[…]As [we rebuild] our country, we should not forget to maintain our values, virtues, ideals, and cultures in the name of reconstruction.”
