Tokoroa, New Zealand—UPF set up a booth at a popular career exposition attended by hundreds of students on New Zealand’s North Island.
The chair of the Careers & Start Living Expo 2015 organizing committee, Mrs. Tracey Dean, a newly appointed Ambassador for Peace, invited UPF to participate in the event, held at the South Waikato Sport and Events Center on June 15, 2015.
The expo attracted about 1,500 students and faculty members from various schools in the Waikato region. It was the first time that UPF was invited to join this yearly event, which had about 54 exhibitors this year.
UPF-New Zealand set up a beautiful booth filled with various UPF materials and literature. UPF staff gave away free copies of As a Peace-Loving Global Citizen, the autobiography of UPF Founder Dr. Sun Myung Moon.
Many came to the UPF booth and learned what UPF is all about; some were even eager to be involved with UPF’s programs and activities. It was truly a successful event and the expo organizers said they were very happy that UPF participated in this year’s expo.
