Congo Ambassadors for Peace Honor Memory of UPF Founder

Brazzaville, Congo—Six Ambassadors for Peace attended a memorial ceremony honoring UPF Founder Rev. Dr. Sun Myung Moon.
The Republic of the Congo dignitaries, who included a senator and a bishop of the Old Roman Catholic Church, were among more than 70 people attending the August 30, 2015, ceremony. The event, which commemorated the third anniversary of Rev. Dr. Moon’s passing, was held by the Congo branch of Family Federation for World Peace and Unification (FFWPU), an international organization affiliated with UPF.
Rev. Norbert Ndielle-Moutsatsi, the national leader of FFWPU-Congo, offered an opening prayer and then read from a talk given by Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon on September 17, 2012, shortly after the passing of her husband.
Next Rev. Jean Tshibanda of FFWPU-Congo gave a talk about the life of Rev. Dr. Moon.
Congolese Senator Marcel Moufouma-Okia testified to the greatness of the UPF founders, which he understood after attending a UPF International Leadership Conference in 2014 in Korea. "Why should we say that we come from the North, South, East or West?” he said. “These are unnecessary divisions. Let us fight for us to be one.”
Monsignor Emmanuel Dicka of the Old Roman Catholic Church spoke of studying the principles of peace at seminars in Benin and in Korea. He repented for not having attained the ideals of those principles, but said that by working in unity, together we will realize those ideals.
The Ambassadors for Peace and guests could not hold back their tears while viewing videos showing the life of Rev. Dr. Moon and his accomplishments in many areas of society. One of the guests said: "It is incredible. I was unaware that there was such a person on this earth.”
They all committed to carry on the work of the UPF founders through educational seminars.
