Nicaragua-2016-11-13-Nicaraguan Cyclists Join “Peace Road” Race

Managua, Nicaragua—The Peace Road 2016 event in Nicaragua was a bicycle race in the capital of Managua. UPF together with the Nicaraguan Cycling Federation organized the program, which took place on November 13.

Among the approximately 400 participants were 150 cyclists, who took part in the race; Ambassadors for Peace; representatives from civil society; and faith leaders, including Catholic Archbishiop Monseñor Mombach, who offered a prayer to begin the race.

The event closed with the awarding of trophies to the winners of the competition.
