Managua, Nicaragua—UPF’s Principles of Peace were presented at the “Vision for Peace” seminar, organized by UPF-Nicaragua. The event was held on April 1, 2017 at the Hilton Princess Managua Hotel.

Twenty-three participants representing different sectors attended the event. Among the distinguished guests were

  1. Mr. Francisco Cortez, pastor of the Jesus Christ Church;
  2. Mrs. Vida Icaza, adolescent judge of the Supreme Court of Justice of Nicaragua;
  3. Mr. Lloyd Bushey David, a former member of the National Assembly of Nicaragua;
  4. Mrs. Martha McKoy, a member of the National Assembly of Nicaragua;
  5. Mrs. Johana Ramirez, a candidate for mayor of the city of Masaya in western Nicaragua;
  6. Mrs. Carla Centeno Orosco, a candidate for advisor of the city of Masaya; and
  7. Mrs. Martha Guillen, leader of the women movement of the Liberal Party in Managua.
