In Vancouver, Canada, a city with a substantial mix of peoples of all faiths and cultures found on earth and a very large representation from the Far East and South Asia, regular Universal Peace Federation are held each month.
Mr. Alan Wilding, District Director for Western Canada, has coordinated activities in the Vancouver area with the help some key Ambassadors for Peace, Dr. Yourie Pankratz, Imam Farouk Elesseily, and Augustine Rebello, to name a few.
Recently, an effort has been made to establish a Bridge of Peace between the large Indian and Pakistani communities in Vancouver. A day-long seminar was held on March 29.
