UPF in Partnership with the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace

Beirut, Lebanon—During the launch of the Lebanon chapter of the IAPP in Beirut on December 14, 2017, UPF signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace (GCTP), an NGO that shares many of the same goals and objectives as UPF.
GCTP president, Mr. Ahmed Bin Mohammed Al Jarwan, and UPF International chairman, Dr. Thomas Walsh, signed the MOU in a formal ceremony before an audience of more than 120 high-level officials from ten nations: Lebanon, Jordan, Syria, Morocco, Egypt, Sudan, France, Italy, the U.K., and the U.S. UPF is committed to partnership as a means to building a world of lasting and universal peace.
