A ‘Peace Road’ Through Thailand’s Capital

Bangkok, Thailand—The Peace Road 2018 event in Thailand was a “Bike for Peace,” held on September 23, 2018 in Bangkok. Seven hundred and eighty people, including 650 cyclists and members of cycling support teams, participated in the bike ride, which was co-organized by UPF-Thailand.
The event began with opening remarks, given by Gen. Terdsak Marrome (ret.), president of UPF-Thailand.
The 10-kilometer (6.2-mile) long “Bike for Peace” took the cyclists past the Royal Ancient Grand Palace, Parliament House of Thailand, Royal Ceremonial Ground, and Bangkok’s city hall, among other landmarks.
Closing remarks were given by Dr. Lek Thaveetermsakul, vice chairman of UPF-Asia
