A Chilling Conclusion to Moscow ‘Winter Peace Road’

Moscow, Russia—UPF activists plunged into an ice hole in a Russian tradition inspired by the Christian celebration of Epiphany.
The event was held under the Peace Road banner on January 19, 2019, which the Russian Orthodox Church celebrates as the day on which Jesus Christ was baptized by John the Baptist.
The day is known as Epiphany, because Jesus Christ showed himself to the world as the Savior and Messiah after his baptism.
