Lima, Peru—UPF launched the Peace Road 2019 in Peru with a 6-kilometer walk, "Cuetina 2019 for Life, Peace and the Practice of Sports," which took place on April 27 in Lima, the capital.
Ambassadors for Peace and 400 students of the prestigious technological institute I.S.T.P. Carlos Cueto Fernandini participated in the activity. As they walked on the “Peace Road” they were applauded by spectators for their commitment to peace.
The walk for peace concluded with UPF-Peru recognizing the Ambassadors for Peace and the director of the I.S.T.P. Carlos Cueto Fernandini, Dr. Alejandrino Ramírez Castillo, and professors of the school.
UPF-Peru Secretary General Mr. Jaime Fernández Tupac gave a final closing message on behalf of UPF-Peru President Dr. Trevor E. Jones, in which he thanked everyone who participated in the event.
