Pristina, Kosovo—Local Peace Councils have been established in the Kosovan cities of Ferizaj and Gjakova.
H.E. Fatmir Sejdiu, the first president of Kosovo (2006 to 2010), was the guest speaker at the establishment of the Peace Councils in Gjakova on May 6, 2019, and in Ferizaj on May 7, 2019.
These are the first Local Peace Councils to be established in Kosovo outside the capital, Pristina. This will result in enlarging the presence of UPF in Kosovo and making stronger and wider connections.
