St. Petersburg, Russia—Activists from UPF were invited to organize creative evenings at an ecological camp.
Fifty people attended the program, which was organized by the Pure Vuoksа movement with the help of a presidential grant, on July 12 and 13, 2019.
UPF activists held two creative evenings during which the philosophical topics of creativity, culture, pure love and family values were touched upon. The participants held discussions, enthusiastically sang songs and recited poetry, including poems they had written themselves about respect for nature.
On the second day, the participants learned folk dances, because the language of dance is universal and understandable to everyone. Thanks to the dancing master class, the participants expanded their scope of vision, uniting as a team and thinking of all the world’s people as one big family under God, and nature as our common home.
UPF activists sought to convey this idea to the camp participants through various activities and a full program. Through poetry and songs, we sought to reflect the image of God and our life principles.
