Luziâna, Brazil—UPF-Brazil held an event at the Luziânia City Council with the theme of “First Luziânia Peace Conference.” It had the support of Alderman Aldenor Jr., vice-president of the City Council, who is an Ambassador for Peace. The program began with words of welcome from the president of the City Council, Paulinho Cabelereiro. Also present were Mayor Cristóvão Tormim, Vice-Mayor Edna Aparecida, Former Mayor Juarez Roriz, several secretaries, more than 10 pastors of various churches, and the city judge. About 300 people were in the audience.
Pastor Valcir Zancan explained the purpose of the conference. Federal District Pastor Wallisson Delano gave an overview of UPF.
After that, Guardians of the Peace awards were given by the City Council. Finally, 11 authorities present, including the mayor and the police commander, received Ambassadors for Peace appointments. The event was attended by representatives of all segments of society.
