UPF-Munich Celebrates Artist’s Work

Germany-2020-02-29-UPF-Munich Celebrates Artist’s Work

Munich, Germany—Almost 30 people attended the closing event of artist Uk-Je Kang’s exhibition at the UPF offices.

Over coffee and cake at the February 29, 2020 event, Mr. Kang and his wife, Agnes, spoke briefly to those present and explained his works and the materials he used.

For over two months the artist’s paintings and reliefs could be seen and admired. His preferred working materials are acrylic paints, especially gold, but he also uses many natural elements, such as sand, seeds or wood.

His work expresses his great love for nature as well as for people. Thus his pictures have names such as: “Journey to Happiness,” “Garden of Love” or “Free Thought.” Some of his works took a whole year to "grow" slowly.
