Address to Peace Summit 2023

Good evening to my dear leaders, parliamentarians and great promoters of peace all over the world.
Thank you for this opportunity to express myself on the role of certain actors in society on the issue of maintaining peace.
1 – The role of parliamentarians who are second in power to the executive branch are responsible for controlling government action and therefore to ensure the smooth running of central governance.
2 - The role of the press and the media which hold the 4th power, are very important and influential. With the advent of social media, the information conveyed by the media and the online press are increasingly important influencers whose messages conveyed on the networks have a wide and rapid planetary distribution.
3 - Civil society organizations are important actors who play the role of interface between States, international and national institutions and grassroots populations and communities.
4 - Economic operators play a role in the promotion of peace because they hold the economy with huge new investment projects and those already in place. The survival of all financing, often borrowed from banking or financial institutions, must be strongly involved in the peacekeeping process because their survival depends on it.
