Address to Rally of Hope VI

I am delighted to be at this Rally of Hope. Let me congratulate Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon, the co-founder of UPF and of the International Summit Council for Peace (ISCP), on her wedding anniversary and commend the entire team of the Universal Peace Federation (UPF) for their relentless and selfless contribution to pursuing the vision and goal of realizing a peaceful and harmonious world—one global human family under God, our creator. This Rally of Hope is a testament to the commitment and passion of world leaders to be part of the peaceful resolution of the challenges on the Korean Peninsula and work for its development.
It is for this reason that I see the convening of this global Rally of Hope as a timely call for action, and the philosophy of interdependence, mutual prosperity and universal values signals that we are entering an era of greater hope.
