RYS-Thailand Helps Set Up a 3rd National Program

Ubonratchathami Province, Thailand—Thailand's RYS club helped the advisors set up a 3rd national program.
Work: From October 14 to the 26th, the RYS worked on the restoration of a school at the central Buddhist monastery of the region. The weather was extremely hot but repairs and restoration were substantial.
Summary: This was the third major project hosted in Thailand and neighboring nations also sent participants. The sponsors worked through the local governor's office to locate the area of service. Ubhon Ratchathani Teacher College was the orientation site. RYS worked closely with the local villagers who added their skills and labor as well as an understanding of rural life.
