RYS-Peru Assists in Building a Medical Center for Community of Orphans

Lima, Peru—This was the first RYS project in South America and was done to help support the work of the Los Citidad por Los Ninos (The City for Orphans) victims of the bloody civil war that was ripping into the fabric of the society.
Work: From February 14 to the 28, RYS helped in the building of a medical center for a community of orphans called La Citidad por Nino's.
Summary: This was the first project run in the Spanish language. The project attracted high profile community and national level leaders included the First Lady, Mrs. Fujimora visited the work sight.
