RYS Runs East Africa Project in Kenya

Background: The RYS contracted an RYS alumni to organize and help run a project in Kenya. This was the second project in Kenya and of a larger scale then the initial project. The work with the Massei tribe was offered in order to bring together the various ethnic groups in Kenya together to work to help a situation where their was a great need.
Duration: March 24 - April 6, 1991
Work: Participants after an orientation in Nairobi went to a Massei home area where they did work on the grounds, fenced areas for grazing and did restoration work on some buildings.
