Background: The RYS was seeking to advance the leadership and community building skills of RYS alumni and utilized the regional project as a way to have an advanced regional training. Also, this training was a way to help prepare the RYS Alumni in ways that they could help organize the RYS Global Forum that India would host in February, 1993.

Duration: March 2 - 4, 1992

Summary: Drs. Ron Burr and Sherry Hartman-Burr guided the community building portion of the training while John Gehring helped in guiding the Global Forum preparations. . Both were important for the future development of projects and education programs in the region.
