RYS-Thailand Provides Needed Services in Bangkok

Background: The work of RYS was slowed down in Thailand on account of government persecution in 1992-3. This project in the North of Thailand was designed to rebuild the RYS and IRFF foundation while providing needed services for the region.
Duration: October 16 - 29, 1994
Work: The RYS initially took part in a Clean Town Campaign in Chang-Mai. In addition they also took place in a tree planting ceremony at Chong Thong National Park and Doi Intanon to honor the King's birthday. RYS built a playground for Karen Tribal children and the central task was to build a training center for fire fighters.
