Background: The RYS past projects in Croatia and other Eastern European countries created a group of alumni that were anxious to bring the program to their nation. The IRFF was already active in Romania largely through its Austrai office and could easily locate good projects.
Duration: August 1 - 11, 1996
Work: Repair a school in rural Transylvania.
