RYS Joins with Ministry of Youth and Sports For Programs in Samoa

Apia, Samoa—The RYS and the IIFWP Ambassadors for Peace joined in cooperation with the Samoan Ministry of Youth and Sports to provide a two day program of service, interfaith cooperation and character building. 60 participants spent time at the National Olympic Sports office cleaning and landscaping the grounds as part of the work service. Joined by members of the staff of the Ministry of Youth, all the participants worked out a vision and plan for setting up an interfaith RYS committee which will be active in creating programs of public service. The entire program was covered by National TV and radio.
