Congo Hosts Central Africa UPF Summit

Congo Brazzaville-2010-06-13-Congo Hosts Central Africa UPF Summit

Brazzaville, Congo - An international summit of UPF's Central African sub-region was held in Brazzaville from June 11 to 13. This Summit was supported by the Presidency of the Republic and by the National Peace Council. It had a substantial impact on the nation.

On July 31, an Extraordinary General Meeting of UPF-Congo took place for the installation of new officers. Gen. Blaise ADOUA, previously President of the National Peace Council, was installed as the new Chairman of UPF-Congo, and Dr. Justin Koumba, formerly chairman, was installed as honorary President.
