Africa Day 2014 Celebrated in Switzerland

Bienne and Geneva, Switzerland - The fourth annual celebration of Africa Day in Bienne, on May 24, 2014, promoted mutual encouragement to develop talents and character, contribute to the harmonious coexistence between generations as well as between migrants and immigrants, and establish a joint culture centered on heart. Two days later, an international conference took place at the Palais des Nations in Geneva on the theme "Towards Lasting Peace and Reconciliation in the Democratic Republic of Congo: The Role of Religion, Women and Civil Society."
