Address to Africa Summit and Leadership Conference 2019
Greetings, Honored Guests, Your Excellencies, Women and Men of God, and Your Majesties. My name is Willard Mswati Gomane. I am king of the Ngoni Maseko clan in Malawi, Mozambique and Tanzania. We trace our history and lineage from South Africa from the 1800s to Mozambique to Tanzania, where we are today. It’s a long story I can’t tell you today because we don’t have much time. Allow me to pay my greetings and warm welcome to all of you that are here today, Your majesties and all delegates. And to Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon and our renowned African indigenous spiritual leader Prophet Dr. Radebe.
I as King Gomane pledge authentic support to the cause. As it was in the Bible and continues today, prophets and kings work together to restore peace, development and unity amongst our people. It is with that same heart that I pledge my full support from my side to support this cause to encourage spirituality, traditional norms, and culture within our regions in Africa and all over the world. With these words, may I before I close note that I do see that there are a lot of elderly people here today but not so many of the young. We cannot have sustainable peace, unity and development within our areas of communities if we do not bring in the youth to be with us in all these endeavors. The youth have been for a long time been called the leaders for tomorrow, but I stand as an example that the youth are indeed the leaders for today and the future. Thank you very much.
