UPF-Canada Meeting on “Educating Peacemakers”

Montreal, Canada—“Educating Peacemakers” was the theme of a breakfast meeting organized by the Montreal chapter of UPF-Canada in the city on April 23, 2019. Fifteen people participated in the event.
UPF-Canada President Mr. Franco Famularo reported on the World Summit 2019, which took place in Seoul, Korea from February 7 to 11.
The main speaker, Mrs. Isabelle Laurin, coordinator of UPF-Québec spoke about UPF’s Principles of Peace, the qualifications of a peacemaker, the role that the family plays in the education of such a person, and the centrality of God in the conception of this family model. She emphasized the fundamental role of the parent couple being in harmony to transmit the values that will lead their children to become peacemakers.
