Address to World Summit 2020, Seoul, Korea, February 3-8, 2020
Dear Dr. Sun Jin Moon, President Julia Moon, the first lady of Palau, dear friends and colleagues:
My name is Dalia Itzik, I am married to Danny Itzik, and together we have three children and seven grandchildren. I came here from Jerusalem, the city of peace, and I bring you greetings, blessings, prayers, and hopes for a better world.
We have gathered here under the auspices of Mother Moon, and it is astonishing to see how one woman, together with her family, has dedicated her life to seeking peace and fostering noble values. Just imagine how much love and care she must have, in order to dedicate her life and the lives of her family to this goal.
Today we all salute you, Mother Moon, and wish you good health and many more fruitful years.
My friends, each of us here has passed through many obstacles in her career, and therefore I don’t need to tell you how many obstacles we needed to overcome in order to reach the positions we are carrying out. Despite this, and even though we still have a long way to go, I look back through the years and compare my mother’s life with my own life and feel great satisfaction. I truly pray that when my daughter will reach my age and look back, she will be as satisfied as I am today.
