New Delhi, India—On July 22, 2020, the Royal Global University (RGU) in collaboration with the Youth and Students for Peace (YSP)-India, an affiliated organization, hosted a webinar on “The Post Pandemic World: Role and Future of Youth.” About 400 students and faculty members attended the online event through Zoom and more than 1,000 people through Facebook Live.
Dr. Robert S. Kittel, international chairman of YSP, delivered a special 40-minute presentation on the theme of the webinar. After his presentation, Dr. Kittel proposed the virtual signing of a memorandum of understanding between the Royal Global University and the International Peace Leadership College (IPLC) in the Philippines, which Dr. S.P. Singh, vice chancellor of the RGU, wholeheartedly welcomed and accepted.
Dr. Singh, gave the welcoming remarks in which he expressed his appreciation for having the opportunity to take part in the activities of UPF and thanked UPF co-founder Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon for establishing such an organization. He recalled his visit to Korea for the World Summit 2020 while recognizing the work of UPF.
Mr. Krishna Adhikari, secretary general of UPF-India, in his remarks, introduced UPF and highlighted the Rally of Hope that will take place in August of this year.
Dr. Dheeraj Borkotoky, assistant professor at the RGU, served as the moderator.
