David Eaton and David D'Or Perform with Taiwan Orchestra

Taipei, Taiwan - Ambassadors for Peace David Eaton and David D’Or performed two concerts on July 21 with the Evergreen Symphony Orchestra at the National Concert Hall in Taipei, Taiwan. Mr. Eaton and Mr. D’Or performed music by Verdi, Mozart, Bernstein, Bach, Albinoni, Arlen, Gershwin, and Mr. Eaton’s “Pavane.” The concerts were sponsored by the Tzu Chi Foundation, a Taiwan-based Buddhist organization that offers compassion and humanitarian aid in countries throughout the world. Mr. Eaton arranged the Tzu Chi Foundation song, “Family,” especially for Mr. D’Or’s appearance.

This was the latest in a series of concerts and events that David D’Or and David Eaton have collaborated on. In 2011 they performed together with the New York City Symphony at the General Assembly of the United Nations, and earlier this year they performed at the Hanoi Opera House. They will collaborate again as part of the Gateway to Africa conference in New York in September 2013.
