Lima, Peru - UPF-Peru activities in December included a gathering with Ambassadors for Peace in Chaclacayo, appointment of new Ambassadors for Peace at the sixth annual Conference of Peruvian Women, celebration of Human Rights Day in the Peruvian Congress, celebration of Human Rights Day and appointment of new Ambassadors for Peace in Trujillo, a thanksgiving service in the Peruvian congress organized by Pastor Dr. Orestes Sanchez, distribution of Christmas gifts by young Ambassadors for Peace in the Hogar de Vida shelter, and a traditional Christmas chocolate treat for poor families in Ventanilla Callao.
