Aid Reaches People Affected by Nepal Earthquake

Kathmandu, Nepal - Distribution of tents and rice to people suffering from the April 25 earthquake that struck Nepal began on May 1.
Hon Ek Nath Dhakal, chairman of UPF-Nepal, led a team to Gorkha, the epicenter of the earthquake, where they distributed 300 tents and 50 bags of rice (30 kilos each). Mrs. Nila Shrestha led a team to Gagalphedi, where they distributed 100 bags of rice.
Plans are to continue delivering aid to people in the most devastated areas.
