Moscow, Russia—UPF volunteers helped to conduct an environmental educational program for Russian Railways employees.
The volunteers joined activists of the environmental department of Mosvolonter (the Moscow Resource Center) in conducting the program on October 14, 2021.
About 40 participants of the Russian Railways Volunteer School listened to a lecture on the importance of an environmentally friendly lifestyle. Then they took part in an “eco-quest.”
Russian Railways pays great attention to the development of corporate volunteering. It has completed hundreds of social projects, including environmental ones. In the company, every fifth employee is engaged in volunteer work.
