Playing Football for Peace in the Urals

Revda, Russia - On June 16 on the football field of school №10, children from the summer camp “Major’s Labor squads” participated in a Play Football Make Peace tournament. There were three football teams: “Dream” (Kaleidoscope), “Scarlet sails” (Life), and “Eaglet” (Bobry). Every morning, children volunteered for the benefit of their city. After lunch they participated in different sports events and competitions. The project was brought to the children and the youth center by Natalia Yerofeyeva, Secretary General of the Ural branch of UPF. All participants received UPF diplomas; the winners received medals and a trophy cup. In conclusion, children a statement about the values of brotherhood, peace, and healthy lifestyle.
