Moscow, Russia—The secretary general of UPF’s Moscow chapter completed the 2017 Moscow Marathon, carrying the Peace Road flag.
Dmitry Samko ran the marathon’s 42 kilometers (just over 26 miles) through central Moscow, passing many famous historical and cultural sites.
A young UPF supporter, Arslan Nigmatyanov, ran 10 kilometers (more than 6 miles) as part of the same event.
Mr. Samko is a veteran of many marathons and ultra-marathons, often carrying the Peace Road flag.
