Peace Road Rally in Montreal, Canada

Montreal, Canada—On August 24, 2019, UPF-Canada members participated in the first Montreal Peace Road Bike Rally. Starting at the iconic Montreal City Hall, we wended our way through Old Montreal and along the Lachine Canal, a waterway that was used for shipping in the early days of Canada. Our destination was a popular park along the St. Lawrence River, where we had a picnic to celebrate the Peace Road ideal of "One Family Under God."
A mix of young and old combined to make this healthy activity an exercise in joyful activism for peace.
