Moscow, Russia - Jan. 12, 2015, was a day of unity, peace and goodness for Moscow children who normally face difficulties and deprivation.
The international charity festival of national cultures "In the Name of Peace," held in the House of Culture at the Moscow Exhibition Center, was organized to allow children to believe that people of different nations could be friends and work together despite cultural and national differences.
Youth Ambassador for Peace Catherine Minsafinoy organized the event with the support of UPF-Russia, Youth Ambassadors for Peace and creative teams from Moscow and the Moscow region, representing various national and public associations.
Against the background of touching music, songs and dances of joy, there sounded slogans for peaceful unification, declarations of love for the motherland, family and the entire planet.
Mistress of ceremonies Anastasia Nefedova transported the viewers in their imagination to Armenia, Mongolia, Georgia, Udmurtia and many other republics and countries, where the singing and dancing of the performers displayed the beauty and uniqueness of different cultures.
Thanks to the friendly atmosphere, the young performers became friends with each other. They freely communicated, played and were photographed together in national costumes, evoking tender emotions in those who watched.
DVDs of the concert program will be given to those who were unable to attend the event, in orphanages, children's hospitals, social rehabilitation centers for children and youth, as well as the Adaptation Center for refugee children.
