UPF Founder’s Life Inspires Essay Competition

Ersekë, Albania—Continuing a yearly tradition, Korçë County high-school students once again took part in an essay competition based on the autobiography of the UPF founder.
This year the town of Ersekë was chosen, as the Local Peace Council insisted on organizing it. They provided the hall for the awards event. They also promoted the book and the competition in the town’s high schools.
After reading As a Peace-Loving Global Citizen, the autobiography of Rev. Dr. Sun Myung Moon, the participating students each wrote an essay based on their impressions of Reverend Moon’s life and wisdom. The resulting essays expressed the pure inspiration of their hearts.
At the May 16 awards ceremony, the winning essays were announced and certificates were awarded to the winning writers, who also read their essays aloud.
