Caracas, Venezuela - The UN International Day of Families was celebrated in Caracas with a group of 40 participants. The UPF Family Declaration and the UN message about families were read, and a short lecture was given on the theme of the Family as the School for Peace. A video about UPF activities around the world was shown. The high point of the day was the presentation to five couples who have been married more than 20 years with the “Medal of Peace in the Family.” Their children delivered the medals and gave testimonies about their parents. Then their parents explained the secret of such a victory. Most of them said that it was their faith in God, love for each other, and shared values that kept them happy and together for such a long time.
