Day of Families Celebrated in Ulaanbaatar

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia - "An Ecologically-Friendly Family" was the theme of the International Day of Families celebration on May 15. It was organized by UPF-Mongolia in cooperation with the government of Ulaanbaatar and the Family Federation for World Peace and Unification in Mongolia. Its purpose was to promote a state policy of family development and maintaining an ecological balance.
Participants included 40 Ambassadors for Peace, 30 representatives from the social sector, 50 students, and 17 distinguished families and their relatives who were selected from the 21 provinces of Mongolia.
