Tallinn, Estonia - In support of the UN International Day of Families, the local chapter of the Universal Peace Federation organized an event on May 16 in the Peace Embassy in Tallinn. The program consisted of an introduction of the meaning of the day, which was then followed by a PowerPoint presentation on the topic of “A Culture of Parental Heart and Love Is the Basis for Peace in the World.”
This was followed by a beautiful musical performance by a local violin player, and all of the approximately 30 participants engaged in lively conversation while enjoying refreshments.
It was generally agreed that the institution of “the family” needs to be supported and strengthened for the sake of human happiness and as a basis for peace in the world.
