UPF-Russia's IAACP Supports Art Exhibition

Russia-2021-05-16-Russian IAACP Supports Art Exhibition

Samara, Russia—UPF supported an international art exhibition organized by an Ambassador for Peace.

From May 14 to 16, 2021, the international exhibition-fair "On the Crest of a Wave" was held as part of the Samara Boat Show.

There were about 50 visitors. In addition, the exhibition received about 10,000 views on social media.

The exhibition was organized by the Ambassador of Peace Ekaterina Samitina in partnership with and with the support of UPF within the framework of the International Association of Arts and Culture for Peace (IAACP), a UPF association.

The uniqueness of the event is that, despite the distance, language, time zone, artists from all over the world took part in this project. Creative people not only from Russia but also from Canada, North Macedonia, Indonesia, the United Kingdom, Italy, and the Netherlands exhibited their works in various genres.

Residents and guests of Samara took an active part in the auction, in which some of the proceeds were donated to charity. All of the artists who participated in the event received commemorative certificates from the Universal Peace Federation.
