Copenhagen, Denmark - UPF-Denmark held its second Interfaith Religious Leaders Meeting on Feb. 2, 2013. As the event coincided with the World Interfaith Harmony Week established by the United Nations, the theme of the meeting was interfaith harmony. Participants included two Christian pastors and two evangelists, two Muslim leaders and the national leader of Scientology in Denmark.

Shall we as politicians focus on the problems or on the possibilities? I choose to see possibilities instead of barriers. But to do that, it is necessary to see people not as Muslims or Christians but first of all as human beings and as citizens.

Copenhagen, Denmark - A "Peace Without Borders" symposium took place on March 28 at a Copenhagen community center. Speakers were Ahmet Demir, a youth consultant; Margrethe Wivel, member of the Copenhagen City Council; and Father Joe Toms.
Copenhagen, Denmark - On September 6, a symposium on “Family and Peace: Family Values in a Globalized World” was held in a community hall. Fifty people attended the event, including representatives from several religious and ethnic groups as well as politicians.
Copenhagen, Denmark - Dr. and Mrs. Sun Myung Moon arrived in Denmark for the inauguration of the Universal Peace Federation at the Marriott Hotel. The Grand Ballroom was filled to overflowing with more than 500 guests.
