Manzini, Swaziland—Ambassadors for Peace and other guests attending a seminar gained a vision of Swaziland as a leader in building peace in the world.
Manzini, Swaziland - Dr. Abednego Dlamini, Ambassador for Peace Titus Thwala, and UPF-Swaziland National Director Mensah Noumonvi returned to Swaziland and reported on their participation in UPF's International Leadership Conference in Abuja, Nigeria July 15-18.
Swazi Observer - AN HIV/AIDS youth training program for Swaziland youth has been launched. The training will be done in collaboration with the Washington AIDS International Teens (WAIT) and the Swaziland Chapter of UPF, as well as the global Next Generation Academy (NGA). The training will be conducted at selected constituencies, schools, communities, churches and other institutions through March 23. It will be run through peer-educators from various parts of the United States.
Johannesburg, South Africa - Teenagers from Swaziland and South Africa took part in a camp on Character Education from December 14-26. The purposes were to help these youths build their character and empower them to deal with the challenges facing them today.
Manzini, Swaziland - The UPF peace message was delivered at the Tums George Hotel in Manzini. Among the dignitaries present were traditional chiefs, tribal kings, senators, members of the national assembly, religious leaders, and NGO leaders.
