Interfaith Peace and Family Blessing Festival

The Global Day of Parents of UN, proclaimed by the UN General Assembly in 2012, and observed every year in the month of June, recognizes that the families remain at the center of social life. This ensures the well-being of their members, while educating and socializing the youth, and caring for the young and old. Much of the success and fulfillment in life depends on creating healthy relationships, yet this is one of the most challenging tasks. Through the marriage and family movement, many educational programs and approaches have been developed to give people the knowledge and skills for creating successful relationships. The UPF is an active supporter of various UN initiatives that support the family, including the International Day of Families and the Global Day of Parents. UPF also partners with NGOs and faith-based organizations that affirm the social significance of marriage, family and parenting.
